Project Name and Timeline: The project, "Solidarity Projects ISKCON Lisbon," took place from June of one year to April of the next, spanning a total of 11 months.
Initial Planning and Welcoming: In June, the project's managers organized and publicized the program. In July, they welcomed participants in an initial meeting and divided them into groups for cooking, food distribution, and music.
Group Rotation: The project's core structure involved monthly group rotations, ensuring that all participants experienced a variety of activities, including cooking, serving guests, music, dance, philosophy, and history.
Cultural and Philosophical Learning: From August onwards, participants engaged in classes on Indian culture and philosophy, as well as Asian art and cuisine, which they put into practice through performances and cooking workshops.
Community Events: The project regularly organized events open to the community, providing a platform for the young participants to apply their skills, such as cooking and performing, and to publicize the project.
Public Performances: The youth had multiple opportunities to showcase their skills, including musical performances in August and a short theatrical play in October, which were presented to guests.
Outings and Social Activities: In November, the group had an outing to Sintra to learn about Portuguese history. Leisure time was also included in December to foster social interaction and celebrate the holidays.
Adaptation to Change: In December, the project adapted to a new challenge by mobilizing all participants to help with the organization's move to a new location, including cleaning and repairs.
Continuous Improvement: The team met with participants in January to plan for the new year and set guidelines for improved organization. A satisfaction questionnaire was also prepared in February to gather community feedback.
Project Conclusion: The "Tune and Taste" project concluded in April. The final activities included a survey of the participants' experiences and a community presentation of the project's final results.
